A free, interactive visual model of point mutations (single gene mutations).

 

This Minecraft world helps students understand mutations and their consequences. It is linked to the SQA curriculum for Higher Biology and Higher Human Biology in Scotland. It will be relevant to many other curricula and education systems as well.

 

To run Mutation_World, you must first install the commercial software Minecraft: Java Edition for Windows or macOS. Mutation_World will not run under Minecraft Education Edition or Minecraft for other devices.
